Tulipán Saxatilis je roztomilost sama. Jeho drobné květy vám učarují, na stonku jsou povětšinou 2 květy, a tak to zalíbení ještě zdvojnásobí.
Je relativně malý, hodí se proto do skalek či na okraje záhonů, my jsme ho zasázeli i kolem stromů a také to dělalo parádu.
Pochází prý z Kréty, také ho tam vidíte? Má tedy pochopitelně rád sluníčko.
